KOSY Collective is a dynamic architecture and design studio, born out of a team of design professionals with experience from Bjarke Ingels Group and 3XN architects. With studios situated in both Sydney and Copenhagen, our global background and extensive project experiences shape our unique approach to architecture and design. We are proud to embody a fusion of diverse cultures, which permeates every aspect of our work.
KOSY evolved out of COVID lockdown, our name reflects both our Scandinavian origins and lifestyle with the term Cozy (hygge) and our location Copenhagen (København) and Sydney.

DESIGN ORIENTED, GLOBAL AND COLLABORATIVE
We are design architects and in our work we are responsible for shaping the overall concept, visual and spatial characteristics of a building, taking into account factors like functionality, sustainability, aesthetics, client values and user experience. We play a key role in defining the project’s design concept, which serves as the foundation for the development and construction phases.
We collaborate globally with local and executive architects and it is in this intersection the project benefits extensively. While design architects can concentrate on the holistic design and generating value through exploration for the client, the local executive architect contribute with invaluable local knowledge and acts as executive architect of the project assuring a smooth process on the ground. The benefit of this collaboration is the simbiosis between KOSYs wealth of global experience and executive architects experience in the local market, resulting in project that is fresh yet grounded.
